Dr. Yael Cohen is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, serving as the director of the obstetric emergency department in the Women and Maternity Department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem. She accompanies women throughout all stages of pregnancy and childbirth – from pre-pregnancy counseling, through pregnancy and childbirth monitoring, to postpartum care.
Dr. Cohen has extensive experience in treating pregnant women, including high-risk pregnancies, and she emphasizes providing personal, attentive care based on current knowledge. As part of the OB/GYN at Shaare Zedek Hospital, Dr. Cohen receives patients for private consultations before and during pregnancy, and performs private births and cesarean sections according to the patient's needs.
She graduated from medical school at the Hebrew University and Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, and completed her residency in neonatology and gynecology at Shaare Zedek Medical Center. She also underwent advanced training in ultrasound and menopause medicine at Tel Aviv University.
