
Dr. Nimrod serves as a senior ophthalmologist in the Glaucoma Unit at Meir Hospital and Ein Tal Medical Center, where he performs cataract and glaucoma surgeries, with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgeries (MIGS).
A graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Tel Aviv University. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Meir Medical Center and, after an additional year of training in glaucoma surgeries in the ophthalmology department at Meir, he went on to specialize in glaucoma and cataracts at Royal Alexandra Hospital, one of Canada's leading centers in the field of ophthalmology. During this period, he specialized in performing a variety of cutting-edge medical techniques for the treatment of glaucoma and cataracts, in particular performing minimally invasive surgeries, while accumulating extensive knowledge and experience in treating various and complex cases.
Dr. Nimrod is engaged in research in the field of glaucoma, publishes academic articles in professional literature, and presents the results of his research at conferences of the Israeli Ophthalmological Association as well as at international conferences. In addition, Dr. Dar is involved in the supervision of students and the surgical training of ophthalmology residents at Meir Hospital.
