
Dr. Gil Lahav is an experienced ENT specialist with a unique subspecialty in ear and lateral skull base surgery. Recognized as one of the leading experts in his field, he combines deep clinical knowledge with extensive experience in delicate and complex surgical procedures involving the ear and adjacent cranial structures.
Dr. Lahav treats both children and adults for a wide range of conditions — from chronic ear infections, hearing loss, and eardrum perforations, to advanced hearing restoration surgeries and tumor removal at the skull base. In addition, he performs general head and neck ENT surgeries, including thyroid and salivary gland operations, tonsil and adenoid removal, and the placement of hearing implants (tympanostomy tubes) in children.
Dr. Lahav completed his medical degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and his ENT residency in the Head & Neck Surgery Department at Kaplan Medical Center. He then pursued a prestigious fellowship in ear and lateral skull base surgery at Monash University and Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.
Throughout his career, he has held senior medical leadership roles, including Deputy Head of the ENT Department and Head of the Outpatient Clinics Unit at Kaplan Medical Center. He is known for his professional, compassionate, and attentive approach to every patient, combining cutting-edge technologies and advanced surgical techniques with personalized care.
