
Dr. Genady Shendler is a senior radiologist and an expert in nuclear medicine, with subspecialty expertise in head, neck, and neurological imaging. He serves as a senior physician in both the Nuclear Medicine Institute and the Imaging Division at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), one of Israel’s leading medical centers.
Dr. Shendler has extensive experience in advanced diagnostic imaging for oncological diseases and other complex conditions, with a particular focus on the head and neck region. He is highly skilled in performing image-guided biopsies, including biopsies of the thyroid, lymph nodes, salivary glands, parathyroid, laryngeal tumors, and other soft-tissue lesions.
He currently leads the ultrasound and biopsy services at the Head and Neck Surgery Center at Ichilov and regularly participates in national and international conferences. Dr. Shendler has authored and presented numerous research studies and has received awards for clinical excellence and innovation.
He completed the prestigious American Institute for Radiologic Pathology (AIRP) program in the United States and continues to serve on professional teams within the Imaging Division and Nuclear Medicine Institute at Ichilov.
