
Dr. Alexis Karlin is a senior physician specializing in child neurology and child development. She completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard University and earned her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She then trained in Neurology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr. Karlin went on to complete a fellowship in the genetics of epilepsy and developmental conditions, including developmental delays and autism.
After making Aliyah in 2023, she joined the Neurology Department at Schneider Children’s Medical Center and also practices within the Clalit Health System as a developmental pediatrician. She has a particular professional interest in hemiplegic migraine and CACNA1A-related disorders and contributes actively to the international CACNA1A Foundation and related research publications.
