
Prof. Yitzhak Biton is a world-renowned specialist in cardiology and arrhythmias, a senior physician in the Arrhythmia and Pacemaker Unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center, Jerusalem.
He graduated from the Hebrew University School of Medicine, and completed a residency in internal medicine and cardiology at Sheba Hospital.
He then completed a prestigious fellowship in invasive arrhythmia treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University in Boston, as well as training in the field of genetic arrhythmias and heart failure patients at the University of Rochester in New York.
Prof. Biton performs a wide range of advanced treatments: complex ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator (CRTD) implants, treatment of genetic, ventricular and atrial arrhythmias, as well as subcutaneous ECG recorder implants for accurate diagnosis of syncope and unidentified disorders.
In parallel with his clinical activity, Prof. Biton serves as a professor of medicine at the Hebrew University, is a sought-after lecturer at international conferences and has published dozens of professional articles. He also serves as an expert on behalf of the courts and a permanent member of the Knesset Health Committee hearings.
Prof. Biton's clinics operate in Jerusalem and Ramat Gan, within the framework of the Hadassah Hospital and in cooperation with the health funds.
