About Prof. Yitzchak Biton- Senior Cardiologist
Prof. Yitzhak Biton is a world-renowned expert in cardiology and cardiac arrhythmias. He serves as a senior physician in the Cardiac Arrhythmia and Pacemaker Unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem.
He earned his medical degree from the Hebrew University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Sheba Medical Center. He later pursued prestigious fellowships in interventional electrophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University in Boston, as well as in genetic arrhythmias and heart failure at the University of Rochester in New York.
Prof. Biton performs a wide range of advanced procedures, including complex ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator (CRTD) implantations, treatment of genetic, ventricular, and atrial arrhythmias, and subcutaneous ECG monitor implants for accurate diagnosis of syncope and unexplained cardiac events.
In addition to his clinical work, Prof. Biton is a Professor of Medicine at the Hebrew University, a sought-after international speaker, and the author of numerous scientific publications. He also serves as a medical expert for the Israeli court system and is a regular member of the Knesset Health Committee discussions.
Prof. Biton sees patients in Jerusalem and Ramat Gan through Hadassah Private Services (Sharap) and in collaboration with major health funds.
